Last year, we published a guide to <a href=”http://blog.remind.com/tips-to-add-students-and-parents-for-effective-communication/”>some of our favorite ways to encourage students and parents to join Remind classes</a>.
It remains one of our most popular blog posts, which leads us to two conclusions:
- Teachers are always looking for ways to sign up students and parents that work.
- We need to make it even easier for students and parents to find and join the right classes.
That’s what we hear from teachers, too—in fact, making classes more discoverable is one of the top requests we receive. With that in mind, we set out to improve the way that students and parents find their teachers on Remind.
Discover Teachers at Your School
We’re introducing Remind school pages, public web pages automatically generated for any K-12 school listed on Remind. Every school page includes a list of teachers who have linked their accounts to their school, making it easier for to see which teachers use Remind to communicate with their classes.
This is a big step toward making it easier for a school community to find and join classes. Teachers can also use this opportunity to share tips, ideas, and best practices with colleagues on Remind.
Personal Information Stays Private and Secure
We take the safety and privacy of our users very seriously, and Remind school pages only include teacher names and other publicly available information such as the school name and mailing address.
The names of students or parents are never shared, and you can use the reporting link to let us know if you have any questions or concerns about the information on your school page.
